This is an example of melding of classically restored heritage fused in harmony alongside ultra modern. Below is a similar concept by Paul Connor of Connor + Solomon Achitects (which appears in Renovation Trends Magazine Vol20 No 11). We feel that this is the best way to conserve the past architectural glory and yet make it relevant for today with the new modern building beside. The idea and theme being that the past and the future combine.The ultra modern construction blends into the background and assists to highlight the beauty of the classic.
